Boston School Committee adopts a new exam schools admissions policy.

In a unanimous vote, the committee adopts a new policy that divides students into eight socio-economic groups, bases admissions on a combination of test scores (30%) and grades (70%), and awards up to 10 bonus points based on whether students live in public housing, are homeless or in foster care, and attend high poverty schools.
